The best way to get to Napa hotel is by taking your car if you live close by or by renting a car if you are coming from a different state. SFO airport has many different car rental providers to choose from.

If you'd like to arrive early and/or extend your stay, you could definitely do so. It's something you would need to coordinate with hotel.
